Et voilà une toute nouvelle équipe d’étudiants pour l’école de disciples 2014, ils sont 10 et ils viennent d’arriver ! Ces deux dernières semaines, entre déménagement, nettoyage, décoration, organisation du programme, administration, prière pour les étudiants, nous avons pu voir encore une fois combien Dieu est présent au quotidien et dans chaque détail.
Dieu est un Dieu fidèle !
Il a ouvert les portes pour une maison afin d’accueillir les étudiants, quelques jours avant leur arrivée. En une journée, nous avons dépoussiéré, posé de la moquette, fait un grand ménage, monté des lits, installé la cuisine, meublé chaque pièce, décoré toute la maison !
Une école de disciples, c’est un temps mis à part pour Dieu ! Et c’est un temps pour découvrir le Seigneur plus profondément, écouter Sa voix, entrer dans les plans du Créateur, s’enrichir en amitiés, servir Dieu, vivre en communauté, oser de nouvelles choses, sortir de sa zone de confort, grandir dans l’intimité avec son Père. Et c’est un temps à JEM Lyon tout spécialement pour découvrir ses talents, pour utiliser son art pour Dieu, pour être impliqué dans la ville de Lyon et pour parler français ! J’ai hâte de voir tout ce que Dieu a en réserve pour cette école !
We have a brand new team of students for the 2014 Discipleship Training School; in total we have 10 students, and they just arrived! During these two last weeks of moving, cleaning, decorating, organizing the schedule, administration work, and praying for the students, we were able to see, once again, how present God is in every detail of our everyday lives.
God is a faithful God!
A few days before they arrived, God provided a house for us to accommodate the students. In one day, we dusted, laid down carpet, did a huge cleaning, set up beds, installed a kitchen, furnished each room, and decorated the whole house!
A Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a time set apart for God! It is a time to go deeper in your relationship with the Lord, listen to His voice, enter into the Creators plan for your life, grow in friendships (fellowship), serve God, live in community, dare to do new things, get out of your comfort zone, and grow intimacy with your Father God. More specifically, at the YWAM Lyon base, a DTS is a time to discover your talents, to use your art for God, to get involved in the city of Lyon and to speak French!
I cannot wait to see all that God has in store for these school!
